Wolf Academy: Where talent becomes a profession.

In the world of motorsport, talent alone is not enough: preparation, method, and a winning mindset are essential. Wolf Academy, the new training programme by Wolf Racing Cars designed to turn young karting talents into professional drivers, was born under this philosophy.

A comprehensive path for growth.
Wolf Academy offers a technical and mental training programme, combined with useful knowledge so that drivers manage their brand image and handle relationships with the media and on social media. Eight young drivers, aged between 14 and 17, have embarked on this journey at the newly launched Wolf Academy, located in the recently opened, modern headquarters of the Brescia-based manufacturer in Sarezzo (BS).

From selection to training.
It all began with the Steering Wheel Award, a contest that chose the most promising young drivers from over 50 candidates. The top 20 were put to the test in an exclusive format, and only the most talented ones were admitted to the Wolf Academy.

Real work begins here: technical training, development of a racing mindset, interaction with top-level engineers, and an intensive track testing programme to refine driving skills. The drivers will have the opportunity to compete behind the wheel of high-performance Wolf GB08 Raiden cars, powered by Aprilia 1.1 engines, in the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship (CISP). The calendar includes six rounds, kicking off in Misano on 2-4 May, and ending on the same Romagna track in the weekend from 10 to 12 October. In between, there will be races at Vallelunga, Monza, Mugello, and Imola, all scheduled within the ACI Racing Weekend events.

An innovative approach.
The training offered by Wolf Academy is based on three key pillars:

  • Technical Training and Driving Skills: each driver learns to analyse and interpret how a vehicle behaves, understand dynamics and aerodynamics, and give precise feedback to engineers. The programme includes tests on different tracks, and by simulating real race scenarios, drivers learn how to manage vehicle balance changes and work with technicians to find the best solutions.
  • Mental Coaching: stress management, concentration, and a competitive mindset are crucial for success. The drivers will be supported by a motorsport-specialised mental coach, who will help them develop the right mindset for competition.
  • Communication and Media Management: a modern driver must be able to communicate effectively with journalists, sponsors, and fans. The Academy includes sessions with professional communication experts, who will be teaching drivers how to handle interviews, master public speaking techniques, develop their personal storytelling, and enhance their personal branding across social media platforms.

The young talents of Wolf Academy.
The drivers selected for this edition are:

  • Simone Bianco (winner of the Steering Wheel Award);
  • Christian Canonica;
  • Luca Esposito;
  • Alberto Jr. Fulgori;
  • Celian Galassin;
  • Victor Ionescu;
  • Giacomo Maman;
  • Federico Sbardellati.

These young talents will have the opportunity to be guided by a team of industry experts who will help them discover and fully understand the many aspects that shape the career of a professional driver.

A springboard for the future.
Investing in young talents means not only creating a competitive team but also building a strong and recognisable brand identity. The drivers trained by Wolf Academy become ambassadors of the values and technical culture of Wolf Racing Cars, ready to stand out on the international motorsport arena.

This initiative represents a decisive step towards excellence—a unique opportunity for those who dream of turning their passion into a career. The road to success is open: it is time to hit the track.
