Wolf Academy 2026: the second edition kicks off

Tomorrow, Monday, January 26, the second edition of the Wolf Academy officially begins. This training program, created by Wolf Racing Cars, aims to develop and refine the talent of young drivers coming from karting.

The protagonists of this new edition are eight rookies selected through the Steering Wheel Award, the competition that tested over 68 young drivers and identified the most promising among the 33 finalists. Among them, the event winner, Filippo Pola, receives the unique opportunity to participate free of charge in the 2026 Italian Sport Prototypes Championship (CISP). Alongside him, Wolf Racing Cars selects seven other talents who stood out in the contest: Iwo Beszterda (Poland), Francesco Dattolo, Andrea Dell’Edera, Alex Laghezza, Giulio Miranda, Victor Rad (Romania), and Richard Sopuch (Czech Republic).

All eight young drivers make their debut in the CISP 2026, strengthening the direct link between the Academy’s training and their entry into professional motorsport.

The Wolf Academy training program begins tomorrow and continues on Tuesday, January 27, at the Wolf Racing Cars factory, with two intensive days dedicated exclusively to the rookies. In the next phase, the young drivers are paired with some of the drivers who participated in last year’s Academy program, giving them direct contact with those who have already experienced the Academy journey.

The mission of the Wolf Academy
Now in its second edition, the Wolf Academy transforms raw talent into true motorsport professionals. The program combines advanced technical training, mental preparation, and image development, guiding young drivers along the path to a successful career.Through interaction with engineers and constructors, the drivers learn to deeply understand vehicle dynamics and aerodynamics, to read the car’s signals on track, and to provide precise feedback to optimize performance. Practical sessions on circuits allow them to apply theoretical knowledge, simulate race situations, and train to “feel” the car, balancing its reactions and finding solutions together with the technical team.

Mindset, communication, and image
Beyond technical preparation, the Academy places great emphasis on developing a winning mindset. With the support of a motorsport-specialized mental coach, drivers manage pressure, maintain focus and clarity during races, and respond effectively to unexpected situations. In modern motorsport, a driver is not only an athlete but also a brand ambassador. For this reason, the Wolf Academy offers training with a professional journalist and an experienced social media manager, teaching drivers how to handle interviews, engage with sponsors and fans, and build a strategic online presence.

An investment in the future
With the Wolf Academy, Wolf Racing Cars does not just train drivers: it builds complete professionals, capable of contributing to car development, representing the brand, and strengthening its identity. Investing in young talent reinforces the team’s competitiveness, as well as the values and spirit of excellence of Wolf Racing Cars, which drivers carry forward to those who will drive the team’s and client cars in the future.

The rookies of this edition experience a unique path, combining technical training, practical experience, mental preparation, and communication, preparing the next generation of protagonists in Italian and international motorsport.
