Wolf Hill Climb Division has written an unforgettable chapter in its history at the 60th Trofeo Luigi Fagioli, the opening final of the 2025 Italian Supersalita Championship.
The Pezzolla–Ferretti duo delivered a sensational performance, scoring a dominant 1-2 finish at the wheel of the Wolf GB08 Thunder powered by Aprilia. This result goes far beyond a simple win: never before had a 1.0-liter motorcycle-engined prototype topped the overall classification, beating rivals equipped with traditional, higher-capacity engines.
A historic victory
Yes, the rain made the race unpredictable and mixed up the order, with track conditions varying depending on start position. But calling it just luck would be an understatement. This triumph is the outcome of 18 months of relentless work: Wolf Hill Climb Division has been working closely with the manufacturer to develop cars perfectly tailored for hill climb racing.
The result in Gubbio proves that the Wolf philosophy – innovation, lightness, and performance – can challenge tradition and even surpass it, opening new horizons in the world of competition.
Looking ahead
And this is just the beginning. Development is ongoing, and by the end of the season, the new Wolf models equipped with Halo will debut, available for both the Thunder and the Mistral.
Technical updates for the Wolf GB08 Mistral will include:
All existing customers will also have the opportunity to upgrade their cars.
