The second edition of the Steering Wheel Award, the prestigious Wolf Racing Cars contest dedicated to young motorsport talents, has concluded with one of the tightest rankings ever. The 33 drivers selected for the training program showcased an exceptionally high average level, making the competition intense right down to the final point.
Six young drivers ultimately prevailed, all separated by a minimal margin, earning the contributions offered to compete in the national tricolour series. Five of them were born in 2009, one in 2008: a new generation that promises speed, talent, and an international outlook.
Representing Italy, Poland, Greece, and Ecuador in the Italian Sport Prototype Championship (CISP) will be:
Filippo Pola, highest overall score: for him, the entire 2026 CISP season will be free of charge—a prize reserved for the contest’s overall winner.
Gino Rocchio, first among the group that will share the total €120,000 financial contribution to take part in the national series.
Tied with him, the other four young drivers completing the top six:
An incredibly tight ranking that confirms the quality of the selection process and the technical strength of the training program proposed by Wolf Racing Cars.
In the coming weeks, the drivers joining the Wolf Academy project will also be announced—Wolf’s educational program dedicated to the professional growth of young talents. Selected athletes will gain access to a targeted path designed to provide essential technical and methodological skills for building a career in professional motorsport.
The 2026 season is shaping up to be younger, more competitive, and more international than ever: Wolf Racing Cars is ready to bring a new generation of talents to center stage.
