Steering Wheel Award 2026: the future of motorsport starts here

After the extraordinary success of its first edition, Wolf Racing Cars and ACI Sport officially launch the Steering Wheel Award 2026 — a project that goes far beyond the idea of a simple contest. It’s a true path of selection, training, and professional development, designed to discover and nurture the motorsport talents of tomorrow.

A proven format: the results of 2025
In 2025, 20 young karting drivers were selected from 43 international candidates for an intense month of testing, coaching, telemetry analysis, and real-world simulation on track, driving the high-performance Wolf GB08 Raiden. The first edition concluded with a fiercely contested podium and some truly impressive outcomes:

• Simone Bianco, the winner, earned a fully-funded season in the Italian Sport Prototype Championship (CISP) and went on to score 4 wins out of 6 races.
• Giacomo Maman followed up with 1 win and two 2nd places in the CISP.
• Christian Canonica, consistently competitive, is now poised for a breakthrough victory after several strong finishes just off the podium.

2026: more structure, more prizes, more opportunities
The 2026 edition will take place from October 31 to November 3 at the Magione circuit. Selected drivers will take part in a unique experience combining theory, on-track testing, coaching, technical simulations, and evaluations powered by a proprietary algorithm developed by Wolf Racing Cars.

2026 Prizes:

• 1st place: Full season in CISP 2026
• 2nd place: €40,000 contribution
• 3rd place: €30,000 contribution
• 4th place: €20,000 contribution

A real platform toward professional racing
