Registrations for the 2025 Italian Super Salita Junior Championship and the Thunder Cup, the two series promoted by ACI Sport within the Super Salita framework, are starting to take shape. Competing in these events will be the Wolf GB08 Thunder 1,100 cc cars, managed by the Wolf Hill Climb Division, a key reference point for hill climb racing.
The first officially announced driver by the team led by Andrea Fravolini is Selina Prantl. The 21-year-old from San Leonardo in Passiria has a strong motorsport background: after eight years in karting, where she achieved significant results, she transitioned to circuit racing in the Mini Challenge before moving on to Hill Climb competitions. In the 2023-2024 seasons, she claimed the title of Italian Champion in her category. Now, a new chapter in her career is about to begin.
Selina Prantl: "This new challenge with Sport Prototype cars represents a crucial step in my career. My goal is to become a professional driver, and I am fully aware of the difficulties ahead, both from a sporting and financial perspective. However, I have confidence in my abilities and in the technical support of the Wolf Hill Climb Division. I have already had the chance to test the car at Varano and will soon be back on track to refine my preparation. Our project is structured for the medium term: the first year will be focused on learning and growth, while in the following season, we will aim for victory. Follow me on this adventure!"
Andrea Fravolini: "The Super Salita Junior Championship was created to offer young talents a concrete opportunity to debut in racing with Sport Prototype cars while maintaining a sustainable approach. Selina has shown the talent and determination required to take on this challenge, and we are excited to support her on this journey."
