A new rising star is joining the Italian Sport Prototype Championship: 16-year-old Luca Esposito from Battipaglia is preparing to take the big leap after years of success in karting. Esposito has stood out from an early age, beginning his karting career at just 11 years old in the Mini category and achieving remarkable results in OKN Junior and OKN. Last year, during the final WSK round in Sarno, he secured pole position, further proving his talent.
"This is an incredible moment, the fulfillment of a dream," says Esposito. "Since I started racing, with the support of my family and friends, I have always dreamed of competing on some of the world's most prestigious circuits. Now this opportunity has become a reality, and I will give my all to achieve great results. Joining the Wolf family is truly a dream come true. Now, it's time to get serious!"
Giovanni Bellarosa, Team Owner of Wolf Racing Cars, also shared his thoughts on Esposito’s arrival: "We are delighted to welcome Luca to the Italian Sport Prototype Championship. Despite his young age, he has already demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication, and a strong desire to improve—qualities that convinced us to bring him into our Academy. Our goal is to support these young drivers in their journey, providing them not only with racing opportunities but also with essential technical and professional training for their careers."
With this debut, Esposito joins the eight drivers selected for the Wolf Racing Cars Academy, an initiative designed to nurture the champions of tomorrow. The season is just around the corner, and the young talent from Battipaglia is ready to prove his worth.
