Super Salita: Wolf Academy backs Dellamaria and Ferretti

Super Salita: Wolf Academy targets Dellamaria and Ferretti for new hill climb challenge

Wolf Racing Cars strengthens its commitment to developing young talent, expanding the scope of the Wolf Academy as it officially enters the hill climb racing scene.

Now in its second edition, the Wolf Academy was created to nurture and refine drivers coming from karting through a comprehensive pathway that combines advanced technical training, mental preparation, and tailored education in media relations and personal branding. A structured program designed to guide young drivers toward a professional motorsport career, preparing them to compete at the highest level.

The initiative has already delivered tangible results in the Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi, where the junior program selected 11 drivers under 17, who went on to dominate the championship podium.

Wolf Racing Cars now brings this successful model into hill climbing. In collaboration with the Wolf Hill Climb Division, the first two drivers selected to compete in the Super Salita 2026 have been announced: alongside returning driver Filippo Ferretti, Trentino-born Jacopo Dellamaria (born 2003) joins the lineup.

For Dellamaria, this marks his debut in a Sport prototype, but his track record speaks for itself: Italian Champion TurboCup1 Class, Italian North Zone Champion Group RS Cup, and IRS CUP Champion TurboCup1 Class — a profile combining talent, results, and strong development potential.

Both drivers will compete in the latest evolution of the Wolf GB08 Thunder, equipped with the Halo safety system, underlining the manufacturer’s focus on top-level performance and safety.

Jacopo Dellamaria: “I’m extremely excited about the opportunity given to me by Wolf Racing Cars. I will put in maximum effort, dedication, and professionalism throughout this year of experience and development. Being the first driver of the Wolf Hillclimb Academy is a great honor and an important responsibility. The season will be strongly focused on development, both from a sporting and technical standpoint. I would like to thank the Bellarosa family, especially Ivan, with whom I’ve already built a great relationship.”

“Jacopo is a driver who has already shown speed, determination, and race management skills,” said Andrea Fravolini, Head of Wolf Hill Climb Division. “Our goal is to support him throughout this development path by providing a top-level technical environment. We believe he has the potential to become one of the leading figures in hill climb racing in the coming years.”

Before making his Super Salita debut with the Wolf Hill Climb Division, Dellamaria will first race the Wolf GB08 Thunder run by AC Racing this weekend at the Cronoscalata di Levico.
