The Steering Wheel Award, the only true theoretical and practical training contest in motorsport, involves each driver for three days, allowing them to transition from karting to a racing car, the Wolf GB08 Raiden, using a safe and proven method. The award offers a total of nearly €200,000 in contributions to continue their careers in the Italian Sports Prototype Championship for the top four finishers.
The 2026 edition welcomed 33 drivers representing 10 different nations. After the theoretical part held at the Wolf Racing Cars factory, it's now time for the track, where the drivers will be put to the test in a safe and progressive manner, meeting the requirements of eight different exercises. These exercises, evaluated using an algorithm, will award prizes to the top four finishers. For everyone else, it will be an excellent learning experience and the opportunity to compete in the Italian Sports Prototype Championship at advantageous conditions.
