There’s always a moment, at the end of every season, when the finish line becomes the starting point.
A new chapter begins in the history of the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship.
Just one day after the race that crowned Simone Bianco as the new Italian Champion, Wolf Racing Cars is already looking ahead, announcing the launch of the selection process for three new teams to join the CISP grid for the 2026–2028 seasons.
An invitation for those who live motorsport as a way of life.
Forty years of history don’t happen by chance.
Today, the CISP stands as one of the longest-running series in Italian motorsport, precisely because it has evolved while staying true to its essence: pure competition, cutting-edge technology, and talent development.
Since 2018, Wolf Racing Cars has been the official technical partner of ACI Sport, fielding the Wolf GB08 Raiden, powered by Aprilia engines — the spearhead of a new generation of sports prototypes.
A car that has redefined standards of speed, safety, and accessibility, becoming a symbol of a championship that continues to grow year after year.
The new selection marks a decisive step toward the future of the series.
Each selected team will run four Wolf GB08 Raiden cars — but the real innovation lies in the fact that three of the four drivers, along with their full-season budgets, will be directly supported by Wolf Racing Cars.
A unique opportunity for teams aiming to grow within a professional and highly competitive environment, where the manufacturer itself promotes an integrated technical and sporting ecosystem.
This initiative stems from the Steering Wheel Award project — the driver contest created by Wolf Racing Cars and now in its second edition.
From here come the young talents of karting, selected, trained, and guided through the Wolf Academy program as they make the step into prototypes.
The results speak for themselves: in 2025, Wolf Academy drivers, spread across various CISP teams, claimed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, and 10th overall.
A testament to the solidity of the development path and the quality of the work carried out both on and off the track.
Teams interested in joining the selection process may submit their application by November 10, 2025, by writing to info@wolfracingcars.com
Applications will be evaluated based on experience, organization, sporting results, and parallel programs — parameters that ensure a transparent and merit-based selection process, designed to welcome teams capable of contributing to the championship’s continued growth and embracing the Wolf Racing philosophy.
“The Italian Sport Prototypes Championship has evolved — it has taken a step up in quality and put young talent at the center. Now we want to keep moving forward, together with teams that share our vision: to combine performance, safety, and driver development in a project that looks to the future of motorsport.”
Giovanni Bellarosa, Team Owner, Wolf Racing Cars
