The Pezzolla–Ferretti duo delivered a sensational performance, scoring a dominant 1-2 finish at the wheel of the Wolf GB08 Thunder powered by Aprilia. This result goes far beyond a simple win: never before had a 1.0-liter motorcycle-engined prototype topped the overall classification, beating rivals equipped with traditional, higher-capacity engines.
A historic victory
Yes, the rain made the race unpredictable and mixed up the order, with track conditions varying depending on start position. But calling it just luck would be an understatement. This triumph is the outcome of 18 months of relentless work: Wolf Hill Climb Division has been working closely with the manufacturer to develop cars perfectly tailored for hill climb racing.
