After an impressive debut season, Riccardo Tarsi is gearing up for a new challenge in the Italian Sport Prototype Championship. The young talent from the Marche region, who secured a victory at Imola and a second-place finish in his maiden race at Pergusa last year, has a clear goal for 2024: to complete the full season and fight for the championship title.
At just 17 years old (he will turn 18 in August), Tarsi is approaching the new season with renewed determination. “Last season was crucial for fully understanding the car and learning how to manage race dynamics,” said the driver, who is also pursuing his studies at the Liceo Linguistico in Senigallia. In 2024, his focus is crystal clear: “The goal is to contest the entire championship and, if possible, win it. The experience I gained last year will be invaluable in tackling each round effectively.”
To achieve this, Tarsi has been working tirelessly both technically and physically. “Since the last race at Imola, I haven’t been back in the GB08 Raiden, but I’ve been training on the simulator and in the gym to be fully prepared when the lights go out.” His relentless commitment underlines his ambition to compete at the highest level.
Another exciting aspect of the 2024 season is the increased level of competition on the grid: “There will be more drivers on track, including some even younger than me. I expect intense battles and thrilling races.”
The green flag for the new season will drop over the weekend of May 2-4 at the prestigious Misano Adriatico circuit, the Marco Simoncelli World Circuit. Wolf Racing Cars strongly believes in Tarsi’s potential and is working alongside him to secure the necessary budget for a full campaign.
