After a strong development path in karting—competing in the 60 Mini, X30, and KZ2 categories—Alberto Fulgori Junior is ready for a new challenge: his debut in the Italian Sports Prototype Championship. The young Turin-born driver, born on July 21, 2009, took his first steps in the IAME one-make series before moving on to the Italian Karting Championship and the prestigious WSK, further refining his talent.
Last November, Fulgori Junior impressed at the Steering Wheel Award by Wolf Racing Cars, securing fifth place and demonstrating excellent synergy with the Wolf GB08 Raiden. His performance and strong technical aptitude earned him a spot in the Wolf Academy, the Italian constructor’s program dedicated to nurturing young talents.
Alberto Fulgori Junior shared his excitement for this new opportunity: "I’m thrilled to take part in the Italian Sports Prototype Championship. This year, thanks to the teachings of the Wolf Racing Cars Academy, I want to learn as much as possible to become a complete, consistent, and fast driver. My goal is to be the fastest. I can’t wait to hit the track and give my all."
His potential has also been recognized by Giovanni Bellarosa, Team Principal of Wolf Racing Cars: "When we started evaluating young karting talents for the Wolf GB08 Raiden debut at the Steering Wheel Award last October, Alberto stood out not only for his performance but also for his deep passion for the technical side of racing. This, combined with his impressive results in the contest, led us to include him in our Academy. In the first tests held at the Binetto and Cremona circuits, he showed the most significant growth, and we are truly proud of him."
With the support of Wolf Racing Cars and its Academy, Alberto Fulgori Junior is set to embark on his first season in prototypes, aiming to continue his development and make his mark on Italian motorsport.
