After years of success in Legend Cars, the young driver is ready for a new challenge: "I will give my all in this exciting adventure."
Luigi Vittorio Maselli, born in 2004, is set to make a significant step up in his career. The 20-year-old, originally from Sanremo but residing in Valeggio sul Mincio (Verona), will compete in the 2025 Italian Sport Prototypes Championship behind the wheel of the Wolf GB08 Raiden. Coming from a family of racers—his parents, Andrea Maselli and Mascha Mularo, made their mark in the rally world—Luigi Vittorio has built his own path in motorsport with passion and outstanding results.
His racing debut was almost accidental, as he himself recalls: "At 16, for my birthday, I had the chance to test a Legend Car at Castelletto di Branduzzo. From that moment, it was love at first sight. Despite it being my first time behind the wheel, my parents were surprised by my driving skills. Shortly after, I got my first Legend Car, marking the start of an extraordinary journey."
Results came quickly: in his debut season in the Italian Legend Cars Championship (Junior category), Maselli secured second place overall. The following year, in the EuroLegend European Championship, he repeated the result while also claiming the Under-21 title. In 2024, he returned to the Italian Legend Cars Championship (850 cm³), finishing runner-up once again despite missing three races due to his participation in oval racing competitions in the United States, where he achieved notable finishes. The season concluded with the World Finals in America, where he fought at the front of his category.
Now, stepping up to the Italian Sport Prototype Championship marks a new phase in his career: "It’s an exciting challenge, an opportunity to grow further and compete at an even higher level. I will take on this experience with determination, ready to give my best in every race."
Maselli is set to make his mark in this new adventure as well.
