AC Racing returns to the CISP with four cars.

A major comeback for motorsport enthusiasts: the Brescia-based AC Racing team is set to once again be a key player in the Italian Sports Prototype Championship (CISP), which kicks off May 2-4, 2025, at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. After a few seasons away, the team returns with a renewed lineup and big ambitions.

Four cars on the grid, two international drivers.
The team, led by historic team principal Francesco Abate, will field four cars, including two driven by foreign drivers. "All of them will be young talents, as is tradition for our team, even though we have also supported experienced drivers in the past. It’s always exciting to grow alongside our talents,” Abate explains, his enthusiasm reflecting the spirit that has defined the team’s history.
The names of the four drivers will be revealed in the coming weeks, but the team’s choices clearly demonstrate a commitment to freshness and innovation.

Passion for the Raiden and regulatory stability.
The decision to return to the championship stems from authentic motivations and a deep passion. “I love the car,” says Abate, referring to the Wolf Raiden GB08, the prototype that will headline the series until 2028, thanks to regulatory stability. “This stability allows us to work on long-term projects, which is essential for the growth of both the team and the drivers.”

With this new adventure, AC Racing reaffirms its role as a major player in Italian motorsport. The 2025 season promises to be thrilling, both for fans and the team, which returns to the track with renewed energy and ambition.
