Wolf Garage arrives in NSW Australia

Carbon Racing becomes the first official Wolf Garage hub in NSW Australia

Wolf Racing Cars takes another strategic step forward in its international growth journey with the launch of the first official Wolf Garage outside Europe.
Carbon Racing, now operating as Wolf Garage NSW Australia, becomes the first official Wolf Garage hub in the Asia-Pacific region, marking the beginning of a global network designed to bring Wolf Racing Cars even closer to drivers, teams, and motorsport professionals worldwide.
This is not simply the opening of a new commercial facility.
It is the first operational node of an international ecosystem built around technical support, factory standards, and direct customer racing assistance.

Building a global Motorsport network
Since the debut victory of the first Wolf GB08 in 2010, Wolf Racing Cars has followed a path of continuous growth, evolving into a complete manufacturer of cars, engines, transmissions, and electronics developed entirely in-house.
This engineering philosophy is now entering a new phase through Wolf Garage: a global network developed directly by the factory with the objective of ensuring consistent technical standards, operational support, and brand identity across every market.
Each Wolf Garage is designed to operate as a direct extension of Wolf Racing Cars, bringing the same racing culture, technical methodology, and customer experience developed inside the factory to local markets.
The opening of Wolf Garage NSW Australia represents the first concrete step in this international strategy.

A structure built around real Motorsport
The decision to appoint Carbon Racing as the first Wolf Garage partner was based on one specific factor: genuine motorsport experience.
Located in Mittagong, New South Wales, Carbon Racing has built its reputation through direct racing activities, technical preparation, and trackside operational support. A company capable of combining engineering expertise, racing operations, and customer assistance within a professional competition-oriented structure.
Leading the operation is Ignacio Lopez, founder of Carbon Racing, who grew up directly within motorsport through local racing, hill climbs, and Australian national rally events. This background allowed him to develop deep expertise in vehicle dynamics, mechanical preparation, and the operational management required to compete at a high level.
Today, Carbon Racing is actively involved in Australian motorsport, supporting drivers and race cars through setup activities, telemetry analysis, race weekend management, and technical assistance.
An operational approach that perfectly reflects the philosophy of Wolf Racing Cars: technical expertise, direct involvement, and performance culture.

More than distribution
With Wolf Garage NSW Australia, Wolf Racing Cars is not simply opening a new sales point.
It is bringing a direct extension of its racing infrastructure and technical know-how into the local market.

The Australian facility will provide:

• sales and management of Wolf race cars
• qualified technical support
• trackside assistance during race weekends
• spare parts management and operational support
• customer racing activities
• development programs for young drivers

The objective is to guarantee the same Wolf Racing Cars standards in every market while maintaining a closer presence to the needs of local customers and motorsport communities.

A strategic position in the Australian market
The location of Wolf Garage NSW Australia also provides a significant operational advantage thanks to its proximity to some of Australia’s major circuits, including Sydney Motorsport Park.
This positioning enables rapid intervention, logistical efficiency, and constant presence within local racing activities — all essential elements in modern motorsport.
Australia currently represents a highly attractive market for the development of customer racing and high-performance prototype cars, making this first hub an important milestone in the international growth of the brand.

The beginning of a larger project
The opening of Wolf Garage NSW Australia represents only the first phase of a broader international development plan.
New Wolf Garage facilities will progressively be launched in other strategic markets, creating a coordinated network built around factory standards, technical expertise, and motorsport culture.
With Wolf Garage, Wolf Racing Cars is not simply expanding its commercial presence.
It is building an integrated international motorsport platform capable of transferring the same engineering philosophy, operational quality, and racing DNA anywhere in the world.

Welcome to Wolf Garage NSW Australia.

Fidel Castillo Ruiz returns to the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship.

The Italian Sport Prototypes Championship once again welcomes an emerging international talent: Fidel Castillo Ruiz will line up from the next round at Misano Adriatico this weekend, continuing his season through to the end of the championship at the wheel of the Wolf GB08 Raiden.

Born on September 19, 2001, in Jaén, Andalusia (Spain), Castillo perfectly embodies the profile of the modern racing driver: young, determined, and technically well-prepared. Alongside his studies in automotive engineering, he is building a racing career already rich in experience and results.

His journey in motorsport began at just 16 years old, with his first testing sessions at Ascari Circuit, before making his racing debut at 18 in the Italian Prototype Championship, where he competed for two seasons with the Wolf GB08 Thunder.
In 2022, he made a significant step up by joining the Italian GT Championship with Lamborghini, driving the Huracán Super Trofeo. Midway through the season, he switched to Ferrari, narrowly missing out on the title at the end of a highly competitive campaign.
In 2023, he further expanded his international experience, combining GT racing with appearances in the European Cup for Cross Country Bajas, showcasing both versatility and the ability to adapt across very different technical environments.

His return to the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship confirms not only the value of the young Spanish driver, but also the growing international reach of the series promoted by Wolf Racing Cars, which continues to establish itself as a benchmark for emerging talents from across Europe.

“I’m very happy to return to the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship,” said Fidel Castillo Ruiz. “It’s a category I know well and consider fundamental for a driver’s development. Racing the new Wolf GB08 Raiden represents a great opportunity for me to show my potential and keep improving race after race. I can’t wait to get on track at Misano and take on this new challenge through to the end of the season.”

Satisfaction was also expressed by Wolf management, with COO Giovanni Bellarosa commenting: “Fidel’s return to the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship is an important sign of the quality of both our series and our cars. We are talking about a young driver who already boasts a high-level international résumé. We are confident he can be a front-runner and further contribute to the growth and visibility of the championship, including in the Spanish market.”

Super Salita: Wolf Academy backs Dellamaria and Ferretti

Super Salita: Wolf Academy targets Dellamaria and Ferretti for new hill climb challenge

Wolf Racing Cars strengthens its commitment to developing young talent, expanding the scope of the Wolf Academy as it officially enters the hill climb racing scene.

Now in its second edition, the Wolf Academy was created to nurture and refine drivers coming from karting through a comprehensive pathway that combines advanced technical training, mental preparation, and tailored education in media relations and personal branding. A structured program designed to guide young drivers toward a professional motorsport career, preparing them to compete at the highest level.

The initiative has already delivered tangible results in the Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi, where the junior program selected 11 drivers under 17, who went on to dominate the championship podium.

Wolf Racing Cars now brings this successful model into hill climbing. In collaboration with the Wolf Hill Climb Division, the first two drivers selected to compete in the Super Salita 2026 have been announced: alongside returning driver Filippo Ferretti, Trentino-born Jacopo Dellamaria (born 2003) joins the lineup.

For Dellamaria, this marks his debut in a Sport prototype, but his track record speaks for itself: Italian Champion TurboCup1 Class, Italian North Zone Champion Group RS Cup, and IRS CUP Champion TurboCup1 Class — a profile combining talent, results, and strong development potential.

Both drivers will compete in the latest evolution of the Wolf GB08 Thunder, equipped with the Halo safety system, underlining the manufacturer’s focus on top-level performance and safety.

Jacopo Dellamaria: “I’m extremely excited about the opportunity given to me by Wolf Racing Cars. I will put in maximum effort, dedication, and professionalism throughout this year of experience and development. Being the first driver of the Wolf Hillclimb Academy is a great honor and an important responsibility. The season will be strongly focused on development, both from a sporting and technical standpoint. I would like to thank the Bellarosa family, especially Ivan, with whom I’ve already built a great relationship.”

“Jacopo is a driver who has already shown speed, determination, and race management skills,” said Andrea Fravolini, Head of Wolf Hill Climb Division. “Our goal is to support him throughout this development path by providing a top-level technical environment. We believe he has the potential to become one of the leading figures in hill climb racing in the coming years.”

Before making his Super Salita debut with the Wolf Hill Climb Division, Dellamaria will first race the Wolf GB08 Thunder run by AC Racing this weekend at the Cronoscalata di Levico.

Grossi joins Wolf Academy for the 2026 CISP season.

Riccardo Grossi joins Wolf Academy: targeting the 2026 CISP season

Wolf Racing Cars is pleased to announce the arrival of Riccardo Grossi to the Wolf Academy. The young talent from Lazio will compete in the 2026 Italian Sport Prototype Championship (CISP), reaffirming the brand’s commitment to developing the most promising emerging drivers in the Italian motorsport landscape.

Born in Sora (Frosinone) on 23 August 2008, Grossi is one of the most interesting profiles of the new generation in motorsport. His journey began at a very early age: at just three and a half years old he first sat in a kart, immediately showing a natural aptitude for driving and an exceptional level of determination.

Raised on the Ausonia circuit, he quickly refined his technique and racecraft, accelerating his development by moving into increasingly high-performance machinery at a very young age. At just six years old, he made his racing debut, standing out in local and regional events at the Valle del Liri circuit.

Riccardo’s talent did not go unnoticed: in 2018 he was selected by a German team linked to Ralf Schumacher, competing in the Italian Karting Championship in the 60cc category, finishing the season as the second-best Italian driver.
His progression continued with a step up to 125cc single-gear karting, thanks to his collaboration with the international PRK team led by Fabio Pacitto, before reaching 2024—a breakthrough year. Grossi moved into the 125 KZ Under 18 Rookie category, dominating the field and securing the title with more than 50 points clear of his closest rival.

Joining the Wolf Academy now marks a new chapter: the transition to Sports Prototype cars and his debut in the 2026 Italian Sport Prototype Championship.

Riccardo Grossi: “Joining the Wolf Academy is a dream come true, but also a great responsibility. After so many years in karting, I can’t wait to start this new adventure in Sports Prototype cars. I want to learn as much as possible, grow race by race, and give my maximum to repay the trust Wolf has placed in me.”

Giovanni Bellarosa, COO of Wolf Racing Cars: “Riccardo is exactly the kind of talent we look for in the Wolf Academy: determined, fast, and with a solid foundation built in karting. His progression shows character and adaptability, essential qualities for the step up to our cars. We are delighted to support him in this next phase.”

With the arrival of Riccardo Grossi, the Wolf Academy further strengthens its role as a reference platform for the development of young drivers, offering a concrete pathway towards a professional career in motorsport.

Wolf to line up in the FIA European Hill Climb Championship with Bormolini

Wolf Racing Cars set to contest the FIA European Hill Climb Championship with Fausto Bormolini and the new GB08 Mistral Aurobay Turbo

Fausto Bormolini returns to the FIA European Hill Climb Championship (Group 2) with an all-new technical programme alongside Wolf Racing Cars. The Valtellina-based driver will line up for the 2026 season at the wheel of the Wolf GB08 Mistral Aurobay Turbo, a brand-new covered-wheel single-seater developed to meet the latest FIA safety and performance regulations.

The car’s first outing took place at Varano de’ Melegari, where Bormolini completed an initial shakedown—an essential step to start building confidence with a completely new package.

Strategic debut at CIVM
The competitive debut of the Wolf GB08 Mistral Aurobay Turbo will come at the 33rd Salita del Costo (April 10–12), the opening round of the Italian Hill Climb Championship (CIVM North).

Organised by ACI Vicenza, the event runs along the course linking Cogollo del Cengio, Caltrano and Roana, officially kicking off the Italian hill climb season. The weekend schedule includes official practice on Saturday and a single race run on Sunday.

For Bormolini and Wolf, this event will represent a key milestone: a functional debut aimed at completing an in-depth shakedown under real race conditions, and the first step of what promises to be a long and demanding season.

A comeback driven by passion (and the Mistral)
After finishing runner-up overall in the 2025 European Championship, Bormolini had been considering stepping away from the continental series due to the new FIA technical regulations. The turning point came with the introduction of the Mistral.

“I was seriously մտածing about switching to international national championships, but this car convinced me to change my plans and stay in the series that has defined my career since 1994. In Wolf I found a serious, pragmatic and reliable structure. The Mistral impressed me immediately, especially for its build quality and safety level, perfectly aligned with the new 2026 FIA rules.”

This decision is fully supported by Renzo Napione and his Team RENAPI MOTORSPORT, who will run Bormolini trackside with direct technical supervision from Wolf Racing Cars.

The Wolf technical project
Wolf Racing Cars has partnered with Bormolini in a dedicated development programme tailored specifically for European hill climbs—one of the most demanding and unique environments in motorsport.

“With Fausto, this is more than a sporting collaboration—it’s a full development project. His 30 years of experience in the European Hill Climb Championship are invaluable. The Mistral has been designed to deliver safety, build quality and performance, and his feedback will be crucial to unlocking its full competitive potential.”Giovanni Bellarosa, COO, Wolf Racing Cars

First impressions: circuit vs hill
Initial track running delivered positive feedback, particularly in terms of build quality and driver confidence. However, the transition to hill climbs will be decisive.

“On circuit I felt comfortable—the car is technically advanced and inspires confidence. But hill climbs are a different challenge: gradients, guardrails, changing grip levels… that’s where we’ll really understand the car’s potential and, above all, my ability to adapt—especially to the turbo engine, which is new to me. The Salita del Costo will be crucial to begin development with Wolf ahead of the European Championship opener in Rechberg (Austria).”Fausto Bormolini

Driver profile: Fausto Bormolini
Born in Livigno in 1961, Bormolini boasts over three decades of hill climb experience, having started in 1985. After early years in touring cars, he established himself among the frontrunners in Sport Prototypes and later in Formula 3000 machinery. His record includes eight podium finishes in the European Championship (six second places and two thirds) and two FIA Cup titles.

Career highlights include:
- 5-time FIA European Hill Climb Championship runner-up
- Overall victories at iconic events on the European hill climb scene: Rechberg, Subida al Fito, Falperra, Buzetsky-Dani, Ecce Homo Šternberk (Czech Republic) and Malegno-Borno
- Multiple European Championship podium finishes
- Consistent front-running performances over more than two decades

Wolf GB08 Mistral: engineered to push, built for absolute control
The Wolf GB08 Mistral features a carbon fibre monocoque chassis with Halo, designed to meet the highest safety standards and also homologated to FIA 274A regulations—the new benchmark set by the Hill Climb Commission. A covered-wheel single-seater delivering class-leading performance, it features ground-effect aerodynamics capable of generating up to 1,100 kg of downforce, paired with an Aurobay turbo power unit.

Target: step-by-step development
The 2026 season marks a new challenge for both driver and manufacturer: an experienced competitor rediscovering motivation, and a constructor aiming to strengthen its presence in international hill climb racing.

The Salita del Costo will mark the real beginning of this journey—not just a race, but a crucial test bed for developing the Wolf GB08 Mistral Aurobay Turbo ahead of the FIA European Hill Climb Championship campaign.

It’s an award that goes beyond results and reflects the way I approach this sport. Receiving it at Misano, at the end of the season, was truly special. For 2026, I want to keep improving, keep pushing myself, and give my maximum in every race together with the Bad Wolves team.”

Giovanni Bellarosa, COO of Wolf Racing Cars: “Michele perfectly represents the values of Wolf Racing Cars and the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship. His progress last season was consistent and significant, and the Master title together with the Belotti Trophy are clear proof of that. We are delighted to have him back with us for 2026: beyond his talent, he brings a professional approach and sporting integrity that truly make the difference. Together with the Bad Wolves team, he will be able to fully express his potential and continue to be a front-runner.”

With Michele Locatelli’s return, the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship is set for a highly competitive 2026 season, defined by the authentic values of motorsport that have always been at the core of Wolf Racing Cars.

After already proving his potential in last season’s Italian Sport Prototypes Championship, the young driver will return to the grid in 2026, representing Team Bad Wolves.

A career on a steady rise
Verdi’s racing career began in 2021 in Legend Cars, where he immediately stood out. Following his participation in the Italian Legend Championship in 2022 and a European campaign in 2023, he went on to secure the ATCC Italy title that same year within the FX Racing Weekend, driving a Cupra TCR.
In 2024, he achieved another significant milestone by finishing as runner-up in the TCR Italy DSG Championship aboard an Audi, confirming his consistent and solid progression.
His move to prototype racing in 2025 marked a new chapter: in the CISP, he finished fourth overall, also claiming an impressive victory in Race 1 at Mugello Circuit, immediately showcasing strong pace and confidence with the Wolf GB08 Raiden machinery.

Talent rooted in family passion
Luca’s passion for motorsport stems from his family background: his father, who competed for years in rallying and endurance racing, passed on his love for racing—sparking the journey that brought Luca to where he is today.

“Joining the Wolf Academy is a very important step for me. It’s a highly professional environment where I can continue to grow and improve. After last year’s experience in the CISP, I feel I still have a lot to prove and I’m determined to fight for increasingly ambitious results. I would like to thank Wolf Racing Cars for their trust and Team Bad Wolves for this opportunity.” Luca Verdi

With a full season of CISP experience under his belt and the support of the Wolf Academy, Luca Verdi heads into 2026 with clear goals: to confirm his potential, remain consistently competitive, and fight at the front of the field.
For Wolf Racing Cars, his addition represents another key step in their commitment to nurturing young drivers and further developing the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship.

Wolf launches Sopuch in the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship

Wolf Racing Cars is pleased to announce the entry of young Czech talent Richard Sopuch into the 2026 Italian Sport Prototypes Championship (CISP), further confirming its commitment to developing the next generation of drivers through the Wolf Academy.

Born in Prague (Czech Republic) on November 14th, 2008, Sopuch is regarded as one of the most promising emerging talents on the international scene. His racing career has been defined by steady progression, built through significant experience in both traditional karting and sim racing—now an integral part of modern driver development.

Richard began his training in rental karting at the age of 8, immediately showing strong discipline and driving sensitivity. At 11, he invested in his first sim racing setup, starting a dual pathway between real and virtual racing that continues to this day, with active participation in online competitions.

Since 2023, he has competed in the Tillotson T4 series across the Czech Republic and Poland. He has also taken part in several endurance events within the Sodi World Series—including the prestigious 24h E.K.T. of Jesolo in 2024—demonstrating consistency, stamina, and strong race management skills.

In 2025, Sopuch attended the F4 Central European Zone Academy at Most, finishing 3rd out of 13 drivers and standing out for his technical ability and work ethic. During the programme, he also tested the Tatuus F4-T421 Formula 4 car. His performance did not go unnoticed, with Academy coaches and mentors praising his ability to absorb and apply feedback, along with his precise and communicative driving style.

Later that year, he made his race debut in the Twingo Cup Central Europe at Most, finishing 11th after an impressive recovery drive from 19th on the grid.

Thanks to his racing license, he has also gained experience with high-performance road cars, driving the family BMW M2 CS during track days at iconic circuits such as Spa-Francorchamps and Most, as well as participating as a co-driver in sessions on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. His long-term goal is clear: to build a career in high-downforce prototype racing, with the ultimate ambition of competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In 2026, Sopuch will compete in the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship at the wheel of a Wolf GB08 Raiden, following his selection for the Wolf Academy and his participation in the 2026 Steering Wheel Award, where he finished among the top 10 finalists.

Within the Academy programme, Richard has already impressed with his highly professional approach—focused, detail-oriented, and strongly committed to continuous improvement—qualities that point towards significant development potential.

“Joining the Wolf Academy and competing in the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship is an incredible opportunity for me,” said Richard Sopuch. “I’ve been working towards racing high-level cars since I was a kid, and prototypes are my ultimate target. I want to learn as much as possible, improve race by race, and prove my value on track.”

“Richard perfectly represents the type of driver we want to invest in,” commented Giovanni Bellarosa, COO of Wolf Racing Cars. “He is young, determined, and has a great ability to learn. His background, combining karting, real racing and sim racing, reflects the modern motorsport landscape. We are confident that within the Wolf Academy he will be able to fully express his potential and build a strong foundation for his future in prototype racing.”

With Sopuch joining the programme, Wolf Racing Cars continues to strengthen its role not only as a leading manufacturer, but also as a development platform for emerging international motorsport talent.

Wolf and BOSS GP: here comes the Sonik

Wolf Racing Cars and BOSS GP Racing Series unveil the new Wolf GB08 Sonik

Wolf Racing Cars marks its return to the open-wheel single-seater segment more than forty years after its Formula 1 World Championship campaign between 1977 and 1980, with the unveiling of the all-new Wolf GB08 Sonik — a car engineered for ultimate performance and primarily designed to compete in the BOSS GP Racing Series.

The GB08 Sonik has been developed with a clear objective: to provide teams and drivers with a modern, high-performance single-seater optimized for the BOSS GP environment, while maintaining a high level of operational accessibility. The project targets both championship front-runners and drivers seeking an extreme machine capable of delivering a top-tier driving experience.

From a technical standpoint, the Wolf GB08 Sonik features dimensions in line with the latest generation of Formula 1 cars and is powered by a 5.2-litre Ford V8 engine paired with a 6-speed transverse gearbox, both developed within the Wolf Powertrains range. The car can be configured with either 13-inch or 18-inch tyres, offering flexibility depending on usage requirements and championship specifications.

“We are pleased to collaborate with BOSS GP and strongly believe in the growth of the series. This was the key factor behind the development of a single-seater that fully represents Wolf Racing Cars’ know-how,” said Giovanni Bellarosa, Owner of Wolf Racing Cars. “The car will be available in two versions: one specifically designed for BOSS GP competition with 13-inch tyres, and an alternative configuration featuring 18-inch tyres and a powertrain capable of delivering up to 1,050 horsepower.”

Keke Platzer, the Championship Coordinator of the BOSS GP Racing Series, commented: ‘It’s great to see a highly decorated racing car manufacturer like Wolf Racing Cars decide to take part in BOSS GP. This project further strengthens the positioning of our series as a unique platform for big open single-seaters from the last two to three decades, and opens up new opportunities for growth within the championship.”

With the GB08 Sonik, Wolf Racing Cars expands its lineup and reinforces its commitment to the development of high-performance racing machinery, offering a concrete solution for those aiming to compete at the highest level in a competitive and ever-evolving environment such as the BOSS GP Racing Series.

This is a team with a strong heritage, proven expertise, and a clear commitment to driver development. Their entry further confirms the growing appeal of our championship and the strength of the Wolf project.
